Burwarton Show is a great day out for all the family offering the opportunity to experience the beautiful Shropshire countryside, get face to face with farm animals and agricultural life, as well as meet and catch up with friends, new and old, in beautiful surroundings.
The showground is packed with things to see and do for all ages. We will be exhibiting a great selection of Eco-tanned sheepskins, Deer pelts, Goat Skins, Wild Boar Skins and Italian Leather Handbags.
Product Care Guide
British Lambskins
Avoid strong direct sunlight. Avoid damp or wet conditions to prevent damage to the leather pelt. Brush regularly to help maintain and bring out the best in the wool fibres. Small stains and light soiling can be spot cleaned with a clean damp cloth and diluted sheepskin shampoo. Hand or machine wash in cool water (30°C) using a suitable sheepskin shampoo (some wool detergents contain phosphates and alkalis which can damage and stiffen the pelt). Machine wash on a gentle wool cycle. Please note, machine or hand washing may affect the appearance of the natural wool fibres and the leather pelt. We recommend shaking and brushing before washing to reduce the risk of tangles. After washing, while still wet brush with either a wire wool brush or comb to help restore its appearance and lift fibres. Dry flat where possible and gently stretch the leather during drying to aid flexibility when dry. For more thorough cleaning we recommend you consult your nearest specialist cleaners.

The lanolin in the wool helps make the sheepskin naturally dirt and bacteria resistant. In most cases a light brush, a good shake and an airing is all they need to keep them looking good. For cleaning we recommend spot cleaning the wool side only using a sheepskin shampoo (avoid wetting the leather). For heavy soiling or stains we recommend you speak to a specialist cleaner.

Product Care
Reindeer hide is a unique product, we recommend careful handling. It is normal for small amounts of fur to detach during the lifetime of the hide.
Avoid sources of heat as this can accelerate the drying of the hide. Avoid pets using them! Excessive shaking or rubbing of the hide can cause the hollow fur fibres to crack and shed. Any liquid spills must be wiped off carefully. If the leather side gets wet, turn the hide over to dry (wet side upwards) on a horizontal surface if possible. You can vacuum your hide using the lowest power setting and the dusting brush attachment. Always follow the direction of the fur. Anything beyond the above seek specialist cleaning advice.
